Kristi Ikemire

Kristi Ikemire is a highly gifted designer with a distinctive balance of creative talent and technical expertise. An innovator and an accomplished designer, Kristi created her own design company, KMI Design, in 2007. KMI Design specializes in creating premium video slide shows for its clients, taking material given to them and crafting a truly unique product. Using her fresh flair for design, Kristi will take any photos or video given to her, and, using only original graphics, design a beautiful and memorable slideshow for her clients. In addition to creating video slideshows, KMI-Design also creates wedding websites for couples to share their videos, photos, and any other information they wish with their choice of domain name.

Before beginning her business, Ikemire received her B.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002. Since receiving her degree, Kristi has also worked with various highly regarded companies, including CBS 2 Chicago, where she currently works. Kristi Ikemire is responsible for the creation of graphics for the news room. She works in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment. She has designed opens, lower thirds and other animating elements for programming specials such as "Garden in a City" and "The Extra Mile". Kristi has also worked with the Creative Services Department to create promotional spots for upcoming news specials. In 2006, while at CBS, Kristi Ikemire was a Silver Award recipient from the Broadcast Designer's Association (BDA). Before joining CBS, she began her career with The Bond Group working as a graphic designer. In 2007, Ikemire brought her extensive talent and creative knowledge to Harpo, where she created graphics for the Oprah Winfrey Show.
