Kelly Clark

Over his more than 25 years practicing law, Attorney Kelly Clark has developed a reputation as a skilled litigator and a dedicated crusader for victim’s rights. Specializing in cases of child sexual abuse, Kelly Clark has shown the determination and will to fight even the largest organizations—including the Roman Catholic Church, the Mormon Church, and the Boy Scouts of America—on behalf of his clients. Mr. Clark’s frequent success in these high profile cases has earned him national distinction among his peers.

Kelly Clark began his legal career upon graduation from Lewis and Clark Law School. Specializing in constitutional and public Law, Kelly Clark focuses on defending individual’s rights against institutions of power, including governments, major corporations, and large organizations. Mr. Clark’s commitment to empower the powerless in the courtroom has resulted in substantial awards for his clients that have greatly shaped Oregon law.

Prior to beginning private practice, Kelly Clark served in the Oregon State Legislature, where he contributed to a number of laws designed to protect children’s rights. Some of the laws Mr. Clark helped pass include a redefinition of the Oregon Child Abuse Statute of Limitations and a ban on the possession of child pornography. Kelly Clark is currently a partner in the Portland, Oregon firm O’Donnell Clark & Crew, LLP.

Professionally, Mr. Clark has served as Board Chair on the Board of Directors of the State Lawyer’s Assistance Committee and a role on the Constitutional Law Section of the Steering Committee. Outside of his professional career, Kelly Clark is active in a variety of charitable and community-based organizations, including the William Temple House, World Vision, and Young Life.

Kelly Clark resides in Portland. A man of deep faith, Kelly Clark is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Theology from the Melbourne College of Divinity in Melbourne, Australia.
