Jared West holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from Loyola Marymount University, where he graduated with honors. Jared West has garnered marketing and sales experience working with Westwayz International Trading as Chairman of International Business and Logistics and as a National Sales Manager for Polaroid Inc., where he promotes Polaroid Inc.’s new product lines around the globe. In 2008, The Sharper Image offered Jared West a position as Product Line Manager. In this position, Jared West designed the 2010 lineup of Metal Detectors and Night Vision Scopes for the innovative company. Jared West combined his aptitude in design, marketing, and management in the founding of The Mantis Knife Company, of which he is currently Chief Executive Officer. Jared West has exercised strong leadership as CEO of Mantis Knives, leading the firm to international recognition and success. Mantis Knives collaborates with distributors and dealers in over 40 countries and most recently received an honorable mention as one of the Top 10 Knives of the decade in Blade Magazine. Jared West resides in Southern California and remains a dedicated member of his community. Jared West donates to nonprofit organizations, such as The Salvation Army and Orangewood Children’s Home, and he contributes his time to Fullerton Children’s Repertory Theatre and Consciousness Centre of Orange County. In his free time, Jared West enjoys the outdoors through activities including mountain biking, yachting, and riding motorcycles.
