After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Public Affairs from the University of Miami in 1990, Dr. Robert Aden continued his education at Tel Aviv University’s Sackler School of Medicine, where he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine in 1994. Dr. Robert Aden then completed his residency in internal medicine at Jacobi Medical Center.
Following his residency at Jacobi, Dr. Robert Aden underwent medical training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at NYU Langone Medical Center from 1997 to 1999. Dr. Robert Aden added two more specialties to his repertoire, in the areas of thyroid ultrasound and ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration, as well as endocrinology/metabolism.
Dr. Robert Aden began sharing his medical expertise with others when he accepted a Clinical Instructor position at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he taught starting in 1999. For the next few years, Dr. Robert Aden balanced his medical and teaching professions, imparting knowledge to students of the NYU School of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor while practicing at the Bellevue Hospital Center and Veterans Affairs Medical Center as an attending physician.
In 2004, Dr. Robert Aden received his certification in bone densitometry. Dr. Robert Aden is currently a solo practitioner with affiliations at Baptist Hospital of Miami and South Miami Hospital.
