Robert Suiter

As a civilian psychologist at six military establishments, Dr. Robert L. Suiter has been providing mental health services to men and women in uniform and their families for nearly a quarter of a century. In addition to a pair of doctorates in psychology, Dr. Robert L. Suiter also completed a child and adolescent psychology rotation during his internship at Wright-Patterson Medical Center from 1984-1985. This internship consisted of 200 hours of supervised experience. Dr. Robert L. Suiter next completed 100 hours of postdoctoral training at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute (NPI) in child and adolescent assessment. An instructor as well as a practitioner, Dr. Robert L. His work there has largely involved conducting psychological assessments, especially forensic evaluations. Dr. Robert L. Suiter is a member of several panels of experts for several major southern California counties, and he frequently lends his expertise to the judicial system in his region. He has completed at least 2,500 evaluations (EC 730) in child custody matters for Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, and Shasta counties. Dr. Robert L. Suiter routinely conducts assessments of adults accused or convicted of abusing children for Riverside County’s Department of Public Social Services (DPSS). He has also conducted hundreds of mental health evaluations for the State of California Department of Rehabilitation. Dr. Robert Suiter has been asked to offer court testimony in more than 250 cases involving family law, juvenile court, criminal matters, and mental health competency hearings. Robert Suiter is fully and continually trained in laws and procedures regarding domestic violence cases and child custody evaluations.
