Steven Brown

BIO:
Steven Brown, Owner, BA degree in Communication, BFA degree in Ballet started Cityboyz Fashion Menswear in 2004 after working in retail for 10 years in Toledo, Cincinanti, Houston and Covington, KY. Steven has worked for several clothing retailers including The Gap, J. Riggings, and Sears, and acquired invaluable experience. Steven has been working with the City of Toledo, Lucas County Improvement Corp. and a developer to try and locate a retail location in Downtown Toledo's St. Clair Village in the Warehouse District adjacent to Fifth Third Field, Seagate Centre and several other restaurants, galleries and burgeoning retail establishments.


Steven's Toledo Ballet Faculty Bio:

Steven Brown began his ballet studies at The Toledo Ballet School with Marie Vogt and Velta Cernonok. He has gone on to study on scholarship at many highly regarded schools including Houston Ballet Academy, the former School of Cleveland Ballet, Eglevsky Ballet, and The School of American Ballet and Steps Studio in NYC. In addition to dancing lead roles with Toledo Ballet, Mr. Brown has also danced with the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music Ballet Ensemble, Wisconsin Ballet Theatre and Montana Ballet. Mr. Brown completed degree requirements and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Mr. Brown also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of Toledo. Steven has taught ballet/dance at The University of Toledo, Owens College, Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts, and as a Lecturer in dance at The University of Findlay.
