Founded by Pastors Rick and Cindy Godwin, Summit Christian Center has a rich heritage of providing people with a place to pray and nurture an intimate relationship with God. Located in San Antonio, Texas, Summit Christian Center was established as a community church for individuals who want to worship in a non-religious setting. Pastor Louie Kaupp’s Primary Pastoral Care (PPC) program is just one opportunity for members of Summit Christian Center to strengthen their spiritual walk and understanding with the guidance of a PPC Leader. Each PPC Leader at Summit Christian Center is trained in prayer, encouragement, care, and guidance in the areas of stewardship, destiny, and maturity. At Summit Christian Center, PPC Leaders are extensively trained through a variety of courses, which include Vision, Benevolence & Crisis, Joined to the Leader, The Call of God, and numerous other topics. Once they have successfully completed the 14 one-hour Core Truths, the PPC Leaders are ready to begin serving church members. The Summit Christian Center offers a variety of ways for attendees to broaden their understanding of both God and other aspects of their lives. Summit Christian Center’s Discovery 101 ministry is designed for new members of all ages to further their knowledge of God’s word and plan of salvation. The Financial Freedom ministry presents new opportunities for members of Summit Christian Center to take their finances to the next level in the hopes of achieving financial freedom.
